Every pet trust includes specific instructions for care. If your dog has a favorite toy, needs to be fed a specific type of food at a certain time of day, has a specific bedtime, or needs to be walked twice a day at a particular park, you can include all of this information in the instructions. Speaking to the person you plan to appoint as a caretaker and explaining the situation can be helpful so he or she knows what to expect. You could even have your caretaker tag along for a few days to get familiar with your pet’s routine.
